Company & Leadership

Concentrated experience. Sovereign mission.

TAKAMUL is a Saudi-incorporated defence and infrastructure intelligence company, led by three cofounders who have built and run sovereign systems at national scale.

001 / Position

Saudi-incorporated. Directly engaged.

TAKAMUL builds sovereign AI capability for the Kingdom's armed forces, security services, ministries and critical infrastructure operators, end-to-end, under a single accountable line.

We engage sovereign clients directly, not through resellers, not through accelerators. Our work is engineered to specification, built to standard, and operated under sovereign control.

How TAKAMUL is built.

TAKAMUL brings proven, world-class technology into the Kingdom, localises it to Saudi doctrine, and operates the sovereign layer in-country under Saudi control. What we build for the Kingdom is sovereign and operated here, and structured to become sovereign-owned. The underlying foundation is brought in under long-term licence.

TAKAMUL is the sovereign prime: the entity that engineers, integrates and operates. The founding team is resident in Saudi Arabia and consolidating in Riyadh, with capital committed to the company's success. These are operators building in-country for the long term, not advisors at a distance. Client data stays with the client, in the Kingdom, always.

This is how sovereign capability is created: operated in the Kingdom, controlled in the Kingdom, and built by a team that lives here. Structured for sovereign ownership over the life of the capability.

WHO WE ARE

Built by operators. Operated in the Kingdom.

TAKAMUL's founders are leaders in three fields that rarely sit at one table: the Kingdom's strategic industries, the protection of critical national infrastructure, and sovereign capital. Between them they bring decades of global experience, much of it across the Middle East and the Kingdom. They built TAKAMUL to do something the Kingdom is only beginning to confront: to bring the world's best artificial intelligence into the Kingdom and make it sovereign, operated and protected here, and structured for sovereign ownership, in an age where that capability can no longer be imported.

H.E. Ali Alhazmi

CofounderThe Sovereign Anchor

Three decades at the summit of Saudi Arabia's energy, water and refining sectors. Former Governor of the Kingdom's national water-conversion authority, the world's largest desalination producer and among the nation's largest power generators, appointed by royal decree. He has led some of the Kingdom's most strategic industrial enterprises, from a major national refinery to flagship energy facilities. He holds mechanical engineering degrees from Western Michigan University and the University of Michigan.

Simon Watson

CofounderProtecting the Nation

Twenty-five years protecting people and critical national infrastructure across multiple regions and successive conflicts. He served a decade in the British Army, with operational service under NATO and the United Nations, and trained in intelligence. Since then he has led security across critical national infrastructure, directed offshore asset protection and business continuity, and commanded multi-regional crisis-response organisations protecting critical operations through periods of conflict across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He holds an MBA and an executive leadership qualification from IMD.

Andre Navarro

CofounderThe Capital Architect

Three decades of international investment banking and capital structuring. Most recently a Director of Investments at one of the Kingdom's giga-projects, structuring private capital, joint-venture and PPP frameworks alongside the world's largest global investors. He was formerly chief executive of a European investment bank, directing cross-border M&A, debt and equity across energy, infrastructure and real estate on four continents, and earlier founded a global bank's corporate and investment banking operations in Portugal. He holds an MBA from Thunderbird and executive qualifications from Harvard Business School.

TECHNOLOGY LEADERSHIP

Frontier AI, brought in and made sovereign.

TAKAMUL's technology is led by a senior frontier-AI team with deep experience building large-scale AI systems in production. In keeping with our model, the world's best foundational capability is brought into the Kingdom, localised to Saudi data and doctrine, and operated here as the sovereign layer, structured for sovereign ownership.

STRATEGIC ADVISOR

Nic Watson

Strategic AdvisorOrigination & Growth

Two decades building and scaling technology businesses across the Gulf and emerging markets. Co-founder and chief executive of the GCC's first and largest car-sharing platform, which he grew to millions of journeys and backing from regional sovereign and institutional investors. Earlier he spent seventeen years at a leading emerging-markets business platform, latterly as Managing Director, where he built its high-technology practice across cybersecurity, AI, fintech and blockchain and created and ran the region's flagship Cyber Defence Summit, convening governments and global industry around the protection of critical infrastructure. He lectures on business and AI at the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) in Abu Dhabi. He brings TAKAMUL deep-technology fluency, origination, and a connected network across the Gulf, with a track record in fundraising and execution.
